JGIM

JGIM picture   The Journal of General Internal Medicine is the official journal of the Society.  It promotes improved patient care, research, and education in primary care, general internal medicine, and hospital medicine.  Its articles focus on topics such as clinical medicine, epidemiology, prevention, health care delivery, curriculum development and numerous other non-traditional themes, in addition to classic clinical research on problems in internal medicine.

JGIM offers early publication on www.Springer.com to reach a broad audience,  with online access to abstracts and full articles rapidly growing each year.  JGIM's impact factor has risen in parallel with its increasing number of high-quality submissions.  Special supplements to JGIM  provide state-of-the-art updates on key topics such as health literacy, women's health, medical education and reforming relationships in health care.
