Staff liaison to the CME and Annual Meeting Program committees. Works with leaders, staff, and vendors to provide continuing educational opportunities for members and their colleagues. |

Serves as Finance Manager for Society, which includes daily accounting, preparation of financial statements, and grants management. Administers funded projects for SGIM, including Evidence-Based Medicine, HIV Testing and Prevention, Up to Date and FIMDM reviewer programs, and the Patient Centered Medical Home symposia.

Plans, coordinates, and implements communications to facilitate multidirectional communications among members, leaders, staff, the public, decision-makers, and other professional organizations. Directs the SGIM website efforts and all publications. Acts as a liaison to outside organizations, works with Council to evaluate, answer, and fulfill requests for SGIM's support of, or participation in, non-Society projects |

Works with regional leaders to strengthen SGIM at the all important grass-roots level, including helping regional leaders with meetings, web sites, finances, membership development, elections, and CME. Works closely with regional leaders and Council in regional program development. |

Staff liaison to a number of committees and task forces. Works closely with committees and task forces to coordinate agendas, conference calls, minutes and day-to-day oversight of activities. Organizes retreats and other project planning including: preparation, management of speakers, post event support and working with volunteer leaders. Works with staff to implement committee action plans. |

Supports the identification, processing and implementation of federal, foundation and private grants for SGIM and ACGIM. Works with primary content writers and project management team to develop and submit applications for potential and recurring funding opportunities. Ensures regulatory compliance and appropriate reporting. |
