Alexander Friedman, DO

Dr Alex Friedman (he/him) is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine. Having grown up and attended medical school in New York, he completed a residency in internal medicine at the UC Riverside. He presently works as a hospital medicine physician at Riverside University Health Systems Medical Center. As a residency faculty member at the RUHS IM residency program, he has interests in Point-of-Care Ultrasound, medical education, evidence-based practice, and health policy. After serving as a judge at numerous ACP and SGIM conferences over the past 7 years, he wanted to become more involved in academic medicine. He looks forward to advocating for patients and the internal medicine community in his new role as SGIM SW Secretary-Treasurer.
